Im a very craft person, i can do just about any kind of sewing or crocheting , basket weaving you name it. Ive decided that maybe i could earn extra money by making crafts and selling them. The question is, what would sell? I want to make things that people would actually buy but that dont take a huge amount of money and time to make. Ive thought about several possibilitys from beaded jewelry to baskets to candles, i just dont know what would appeal to people.any ideas?
First off I love buying homemade crafts! When I go to garage sales I can not resist it! I love to buy homemade candles, i just love candles all together and if it is something you are good at I am sure you could get quite a few buyers. I know of a lot of people that make baby clothes and sell them, you can either sew them or crochet them. Christmas ornaments are always a biggy. But whenever you find what you are interested in making make sure you don't over do your budget, but also make sure that you don't sell them for to much either or else no one is going to want to buy anything. A few other ideas is if you can paint or draw or know how to collage (who doesn't lol) then maybe you could paint and decorate picture frames. I love picture frames and when I go out bargaining if there are cute frames they are so mine! Another one would be: I went to a garage sale the other day and some younger girls there made hand crafted cards and were selling them for like 3 cards for a dollar, and they were honestly so neat. Also your basket idea, if you are good at it then I would totally go for it baskets are always cute and have many unique things you can do with them.
Last but not least around where I live they do craft things or big garage sales at churches or example our 4-H ground, try to get involved in those to help you get started! Hope this helps and good luck to you!

For yearspeople love christmas ornaments made mine out of dried gourds and always buy snowmen.

For it then maybe you dont sell them you find what you can paint and when go for to garage sale.
