Can you use US postage stamps from the UK?
I have some US stamps left over from a recent trip to the states. They're enough to send postage to the UK, so can I use them to send back to American addresses from England? Can anyone confirm this is ok? Has it worked for anyone else?

I am sorry, but the answer is "no."
When you send mail from any country, you must use that country's postage stamps. The only thing I know you can do is to send a letter to a friend in the States and enclose your U.S. postage stamps, asking the friend to reimburse you for them.
He or she can use the stamps to write to you!
