Strip Die
What are the consequences of working in a strip club in God's eyes ?
I might be relocating to las vegas and working at a strip club as barback and then hopefully as a bartender. I am a male in my early thirties and I was wondering what would the consequences of that decision would be in God's eyes ? Does God approve of me doing this and could working in that type of environment lead me to hell when I die ?
Few people believe what I'm going to show you, and you may or may not see it as I do, but here it goes:
Jesus said that He is the way, the truth and the LIFE.
1st Corinthians 3:11, says, we can lay no other foundation than that which is already laid, Jesus Christ. Your foundation is your Life, which Jesus gave to you. Same chptr verses 12-17, tells us that we can build upon the life which God gives us either good works or bad works, and that the WORKS will be revealed whether good or bad by fire. If any man's work comes through God's refining fire, he will receive a reward, but if it is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved by the cleansing fire. You will be left with life only, and no reward for your labor, if your labor is ungodly. Good works will receive a reward. What is the reward? Revelation 2:26-27, "He that overcometh, and keepeth MY works unto the end, to him will I give POWER OVER THE NATIONS: AND HE SHALL RULE THEM with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father".
You will either rule or be ruled for eternity. Now, would you rather enjoy worldly pleasures for a few years, or rule in God's Kingdom for eternity?
Jesus said, in Matthew 5:19, "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called LEAST in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven." Notice, even though you break & teach others to do so, you are still in the kingdom, but you are ruled, and least.
God's word says, Eye hath not seen nor ear heard the things which God has prepared for those who Love Him. They will rule with Him. He will always be supreme ruler, but we will sit with Him in His throne.
